HOUSE SYSTEM

At Stanford Matriculation School, the House System plays a vital role in fostering team spirit, leadership, discipline, and a healthy competitive spirit among students. It encourages students to participate in co-curricular and extracurricular activities, helping them develop a sense of responsibility, teamwork, and school pride.
    House Structure:
  • All students are divided into four houses, each led by:
  • House Captain
  • Vice-Captain
  • House Advisors (Teachers)
  • The Head Boy and Head Girl serve as the student coordinators, ensuring smooth execution of all inter-house activities and competitions.
    Objectives of the House System:
  • Encourage leadership and teamwork among students.
  • Develop a competitive yet friendly atmosphere for participation in sports, academics, and cultural events.
  • Promote discipline, cooperation, and camaraderie among students.
  • Enhance students’ confidence, organizational skills, and responsibility.
    House Activities:
  • The House System provides opportunities for students to engage in various school activities under their House banner, including:
  • Inter-House Sports Competitions (Athletics, Football, Cricket, Basketball, etc.)
  • Debates, Quiz Competitions, and Elocution Contests
  • Cultural and Literary Events (Music, Dance, Drama, Art)
  • Community Service and Social Awareness Programs
  • House Assemblies and Leadership Training
    Guidance & Mentorship:
  • Each House is supervised by teacher advisors, who provide guidance and motivation to the student leaders.
  • Captains and Vice-Captains work closely with them to encourage active participation and foster a spirit of excellence within their House.
  • Through the House System, Stanford Matriculation School ensures that students develop a strong sense of belonging, leadership skills, and personal growth, contributing to their overall character development.
