Rules And Regulations

  • Discipline
    • Discipline is the foundation of learning. Every student must practice self-restraint, patience, and control over emotions to develop self-discipline and respect for others.
    • Students must be polite and respectful. They should greet their teachers, elders, and fellow students courteously and behave with dignity inside and outside the school campus.
    • Punctuality is essential. All students must arrive at the school a few minutes before the morning bell and gather in silence for the morning assembly/class upon the first warning bell.
    • Prayer must be observed with reverence. Students should respect and participate in daily prayers and proceed to their classrooms in an orderly manner after the assembly.
    • Timely attendance for all sessions:
      • In the afternoon, students must be in their classrooms by the first bell.
      • Classes commence at the second bell, and students must be seated and ready to learn.
    • Maintaining silence in classrooms is mandatory. Students should remain seated and engage in self-study until the teacher arrives.
    • Greeting teachers is a mark of respect. Students shall stand up, greet the teacher, and remain standing until given permission to sit.
    • Unruly behavior, loud talking, and running inside the school premises are strictly prohibited. Maintaining decorum is essential at all times.
    • Students must move silently through corridors during class hours to avoid disturbing ongoing sessions.
    • Classrooms should not be entered without permission. Students must seek the class teacher’s consent to change seats or visit another class.
    • Speaking in English is compulsory on the school campus to enhance communication skills.
    • Any act of disrespect, rudeness, or indiscipline toward school staff will be taken seriously. Such actions may result in strict disciplinary action or dismissal.
    • Students must not leave the campus with a stranger or relative unless their parent/guardian provides a written authorization.
  • General Conduct & Responsibilities
    • No unauthorized collections of money, materials, or gifts shall be made. Any fundraising or contributions must be approved by the school administration.
    • No student is permitted to organize meetings, picnics, or parties without prior approval from the Principal or Headmistress.
    • Students should not carry excessive money or valuables (e.g., gold jewelry, expensive watches, or electronic gadgets). The school will not be responsible for any loss of such items.
    • Wearing bangles, rings, or expensive accessories is not permitted. Students are expected to dress neatly and modestly, as per the school dress code.
    • Students are responsible for the safekeeping of their belongings. It is advisable to label personal items such as school bags, tiffin carriers, and umbrellas.
    • The school premises must always be kept neat and clean. Litter must be disposed of in the designated waste bins. Students must not deface walls, desks, blackboards, or school furniture.
    • Any damage caused to school property must be reported immediately to the Principal. The student responsible shall be required to compensate for repairs or replacements.
    • Students must respect and care for school infrastructure, including classrooms, playgrounds, laboratories, and display boards.
  • Disciplinary Measures
    • Any violation of school rules will result in appropriate disciplinary action, depending on the severity of the offense.
    • A serious breach of discipline may lead to temporary suspension at the discretion of the Principal.
    • Students who repeatedly disobey rules, disrespect teachers, or disrupt school harmony may face strict action, including expulsion.
  • Code of Conduct During Examinations
    • Cheating, copying, or using unfair means during exams is a serious offense. Students caught engaging in malpractices will face strict disciplinary actions.
    • Talking, borrowing materials, or creating disturbances during exams is strictly prohibited.
    • Students must report to the examination hall on time and carry the required materials (pens, pencils, erasers, etc.). Borrowing from others is not permitted.
  • School Uniform & Appearance
    • Students must wear the prescribed school uniform at all times, including on special occasions unless informed otherwise.
    • Uniforms should be clean, well-ironed, and properly fitted.
    • Boys must maintain neat hairstyles, and girls must tie their hair neatly.
    • Nail polish, fancy hairstyles, and excessive accessories are not allowed.
    • Shoes must be polished daily, and socks must be clean.
  • Use of Technology & Digital Conduct
    • Mobile phones, smartwatches, and electronic gadgets are strictly prohibited within the school premises. If found, they will be confiscated and returned only to parents/guardians.
    • Students must not misuse the internet or digital resources available in the school. Accessing inappropriate content will lead to disciplinary action.
    • Cyberbullying or any form of online misconduct will be dealt with seriously.
